Work from Home is now Mandatory for IT Firms Due to Coronavirus

Work from Home is the way to go for IT Firms Due to Coronavirus

There are firms who never let their employees work from home due to their rigidness and lack of trust to their employees. Of course we are here speaking based on experience of our time before we came at Octabeans Software, which might not please some of the companies but the reality is that firms are not all that confidence when it comes to giving freedom to their employees to work from where ever they want.

We also accept that some employees take benifite of this and focus on other things, but for a firm, the thing has to be calculated based on output from the employee, no matter how and when they work.

If the output is not what expected then there is no point even keeping that employee in the office as well. But anyways, which ever companies having that tendency to not allow employee work from home, they have to do it now forcefully as the Coronavirus is spreading across the glob.

In India, already major tech companies and startups are following the same practices and asking their employees to work from home only.

Flipkart is one of the big names who is implementing the work from home practices for employees.

We at Octabeans Software always practicing work from anywhere, it is actually helping to reduce office cost as well as allowing employees to take responsibility and ownership of task given.

Our experience says employees become more productive, given that the employees must be A player as per the Steve Jobs’ opinion, and this is reason why we have a very small team and whenever you visit our office at Morbi, you will only found our Co-founder Mahesh Manseta, and that is also not always because he also follow the same practice of working from anywhere, after all at the end of the day, it is the productivity that matters rather than anything else.

Is Flutter The future of Programming?

Is Flutter The future of Programming?

Flutter, created by Google was launched at IO 2017 in May, but since then it has achieve massive popularity among the developer community. Obviously it has grown from strength to strength in the hands of Google with huge investment and also with further research and development and by looking at the recent developments in the Flutter platform we can surely say that it is the Future of programming.

The reason why we consider the Flutter as the future of programming is due to its multi-platform support with single code base.

As we all know that Flutter is used to develop applications for Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, Linux, Google Fuchsia and the web.

In December 2019, Google announced Flutter 1.12 with the support for Mac OS, Web and more, and with that you can utilize the power of Dart Language for developing apps for Web, Mac OS and even more.

In 2020, Flutter is surely in trends along with Kotlin and Python, although Kotlin and Python are Programming Languages where as Flutter is a Platform, but there is no doubt that most of the mobile app developers and web app developers will try to move to Flutter in the coming years.

And that is the reason we consider Flutter as a future for programming, here we consider it as a concept so any big tech firm if comes up with similar platform with support of wide range of platforms like Android, iOS, Mac OS, Web, Linux and so on, it will also be considered as a powerful option to build career on as cross platform apps reduces resources, code base maintenance and hence reducing the development cost for the companies.
